The design focus: Moroccan architecture with a middle eastern flavor accented with the homeowner’s Cornish and Scottish heritage! These sensibilities influenced the color palette with dark brown balconies and roof to white plaster facades, curvilinear details to the blue tile on the outdoor pool fountain. The natural wood front entry door embellished with black wrought iron hardware is accentuated by the curvilinear portico designs.
Throughout the home are stunning details: Hand carved wood doors from Mumbai, India to the stainless-steel counters, with the textured back splash of the kitchen aligns to the dimensions of the gourmet matte black Viking Stove. The black kitchen cabinetry is a color motif repeated in the master bathroom.
The interior treatments of soft cream, natural wood beams and tile flooring are a contrast to the dominant modern kitchen. The balconies have strong architectural elements to complement the home and provide stunning views!
