This Alys Beach renovation transformed the Southern traditional décor features of dark beadboard paneled walls and wallpaper into a contemporary beach-centric ambiance. Pristine white walls are featured throughout the home with natural stained wood beams in the living room.
The second–floor hallway was transformed into a second Master suite with a large master bathroom featuring double vanities and European-inspired double glass doors enclosing the shower stalls and toilet with natural light from an octagonal window. The hallway wall facing the staircase was converted into a recessed curvilinear niche showcasing a painting and side table and large coral.
The cozy outdoor patio area was reconfigured with a bamboo swing and drapery closures to shield it from the brilliant sunshine. The terraced landscaping with a fire pit extends the outdoor ambiance and is balanced with the lush tropical foliage designed by Chad Horton (HortonLand Works, Freeport).
