Within this Carriage House is a whimsical tribute designed to display treatments from the former residence of the homeowner’s mother. Creating a visually fun gathering place involved repurposing the former kitchen with a Tiffany-inspired ceiling lamp, refurbished St. Charles sky-blue metal cabinets, playful abstract-patterned Formica countertops, a curvilinear table, and retro décor featuring wall ceramic treasures. These elements are situated within a framework of beach-white stained wood flooring and ceilings, contrasted by black and white tiles, all juxtaposed within a streamlined design.

This resident desired to accentuate their love for design and honor their mother’s legacy within a relaxed atmosphere.
