A sanctuary of privacy contained within white stucco walls with structural columns was designed to accentuate the architectural shapes and landscaping. The roof-top patio provides vistas to sunsets and Alys beach architecture is accessed via a concrete helicoidal staircase produced in partnership with Italian creators at Rizzi, who specializes in self-supporting stair systems.
Imaginative details visualized throughout the home: Book-matched marble fireplace complementing the countertops, the contrast of window shapes and sizes with various textures along the walls and doors are repeated within and outside the home and including the plunge pool. A daringly whimsical aspect is the outdoor bathtub adjacent to the master quarters to soak in the ambiance of the surroundings with
absolute privacy.
The architect’s recommended enhancing the Alys Beach community’s ambiance by designing on the park façade, a textured hand-carved Italian Carrera Marble fountain. This is situated for viewing on the outside of the house facing the relaxed sitting area within the resident communal area.
